Bournemouth Velodrome is an open public cycling facility set in Slades Park Open Space in Ensbury Park, Bournemouth.
The velodrome is managed by Active Dorset CIO in partnership with BCP Council. It has regular club track cycling sessions, Bikeability and learn to ride and British Cycling events. The Bournemouth Velodrome is available for booking for anyone who wants to experience the thrill of riding this 250m Olympic size track!
We would be delighted to welcome you, whatever standard of rider you are; from novice through to experienced track cyclists.

Velodrome Sessions

The details of all cycling opportunities, club sessions, introductory courses and events are on the Bournemouth Velodrome Timetable.
Please note that the access to the velodrome is weather dependent and your booking may be moved or cancelled depending on the conditions on the day.
Annual Membership
Annual Bournemouth Velodrome Membership
- Adults: £70
- Under 18: £55
This is the best way for regular users to experience the velodrome is to become a member.
Benefits:
- Ability to use velodrome at any time (when no other organised sessions are taking place)
- No pay-and ride fee for organised/club sessions
- Members only reserved free track ride session 6-8pm every Wednesday evening April until end September
* We highly recommend that all members carry British Cycling insurance.

Pay and ride in organised sessions will be charged at £7 per head.
Group Bookings (Community)
Coach–led group sessions mean you can come along together and learn how/experience the velodrome.

- Less than 7 riders - £47
Group use (Commercial)
- 12 riders or more £7 per head
- Les than 12 riders £84

What do I need?
You will need a pair of trainers and clothing that won't get caught in the chain or wheels.
Track bikes and helmets can be provided.
