As Chief Executive it is my role to support the Board, our Staff and our wider partners to deliver our business plan and strategy priorities.
Our main objective is to support change in systems and behaviours amongst leaders, organisations and individuals to reduce inactivity levels across the County, making Dorset a place for people to enjoy an active lifestyle.

Deputy Chief Executive
My role is to lead a whole system approach to address inactivity and engage more people in active lives in Dorset. This includes managing the development of the county wide physical activity strategy, the Active Ageing Project and overseeing our work with Children and Young People.
Some key objectives;

I lead on Slades Park and similar projects in addressing inactivity and community facilities, plus being responsible for workforce development and safeguarding. I also supporting other staff and the organisation strategy as part of my role as a member of the Senior Management Team.
In my spare time try to maintain an NGS garden and chair local cricket club.

My key role is to connect and collaborate with key partners to influence behaviour change in children, young people, schools and their wider school communities.
Other areas of responsibility include helping schools to complete the Active Lives Survey and keep their Primary PE and School Sport Premium documents up to date.

My role is to promote the work of Active Dorset, identifying and interacting with our target audiences and establishing meaningful relationships with stakeholders and policy makers.
Some key areas of my work include maintaining the company website, managing social media profiles for Active Dorset and all sub-brands and assisting and advising project managers to identify and support marketing needs for their programme areas.

Active Ageing & Administration Officer
The key areas of my role include supporting the Active Ageing project by building relationships with schools and workplaces, organising and marketing wellbeing events aimed at inactive parents/grandparents, staff approaching retirement and the local community.
I also co-ordinate the South West Mental Health & Physical Activity Network and provide administration support across the Active Partnership, including bookkeeping.

Sports Development Officer
My role is help increase and sustain the activity levels of all children and young people across Dorset. I do this by managing our School Games programme of events and creating new Satellite Clubs for inactive 11-19 year olds in areas of deprivation.

Active Ageing Project Officer
I work on the Active Ageing project; specifically organising training for health care professionals, delivering wellbeing events across primary and secondary care and helping to develop the physical activity pathway within LiveWell Dorset.

CYP System Change Officer
My role is to seek opportunities and build relationships within local systems where we can embed physical activity and behaviour change to increase physical activity levels of children and young people across Dorset. I also support the delivery of specific delivery programmes in CYP including School Games and work with local providers to embed physical activity in their services.

Slades Park Pavilion Manager
I am responsible for managing Slades Park Pavilion. This includes the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers to run the café and the coordination of all meeting room and party bookings.
