Bournemouth Commonwealth Games Trails

Celebrate the 2022 Commonwealth Games by taking part in Commonwealth Games trails at 5 different Bournemouth locations this summer!

The school with the most participants at the end of the summer (deadline Friday 9th September) will win an athlete mentor visit from Jamie Barrow, the world's fastest snowboarder!

Time scale: the trails are ready to use until Friday 9th September

Venues: Each trail is between 1.2-1.6km in length. They are available at 5 different venues; Slades Park, Queens Park, Kings Park, Littledown and Boscombe Chine.

Cost: All trails are free to complete. You will need a trail sheet and map for each site. They are downloadable here Your School Games - Bournemouth Commonwealth Games Trails or you can collect a paper copy from each venue.

What to do:

  • Follow the route finding the markers (these are the United by Birmingham logo), complete a physical activity challenge and answer a Commonwealth Games themed question at each station.
  • When you have completed the trail, use the first letter of all the answers to the questions to form a word/s.
  • Scan the QR code on the sheet and submit your name, school year, school name and answer.

School with the most entries at the end of the period (9th September 2022) will win a visit from athlete mentor Jamie Barrow!
