Slades Park Pavilion has been established as a hub and catalyst for increasing the levels of physical activity and use of Slades Park.
The Pavilion Manager role plays an important dual function; firstly, ensuring smooth management and efficient running of the Pavilion and secondly, supporting and developing the use of the park facilities.
Working closely with the other Active Dorset staff and volunteers, with effective marketing, networking and innovative solutions, the Pavilion Manager will work to ensure Slades Park Pavilion is a vibrant, and well-managed facility that operates for the benefit of local residents and organisations within a sustainable framework.
The Manager will be given a high degree of autonomy, flexibility and will be self-motivated, capable of dealing with challenge and risk. The Diversification Manager (DM), as line manager, will support and mentor the Manager to aid them in achieving their full potential within the role.
This role requires an agreed level of flexibility in weekend and evening work.
