As part of the DCMS School Sport & Activity Action Plan, Active Dorset have been commissioned to lead on a project looking at school facilities and their use by local communities.
The Active Partnership has commissioned students from Bournemouth University to undertake the initial research via a telephone survey which will ask questions regarding the condition of your facilities and to obtain general information on community access.
This survey will be followed by DCMS funded pilots in 2020/21, which will bring together schools and local providers to trial innovative new approaches to getting young people active.
