Junior Track Cycling Sessions at the Bournemouth Velodrome

Junior Track Cycling

Junior track cycling sessions take place at the Bournemouth Velodrome Saturday mornings (10:00am-12:00pm). These fun and friendly sessions, for those aged 7-16 years, are aimed at those new to track cycling and will help develop cycling technique and build confidence on the velodrome.

More advanced riders will be taught basic racing skills and given more challenging exercises.

The session leaders will be qualified and accredited British Cycling coaches with experience of working with young people in a sports coaching environment.

Open session - no booking required.

Bournemouth Velodrome Holiday Club

During the school summer holidays, the Bournemouth Velodrome Holiday Club will run on selected dates (11:00am-1:00pm). Summer holiday morning sessions, led by British Cycling GO Ride coach Dave Jowett for young riders aged 7-16, are designed for beginners and intermediate riders who want to learn and develop their track riding skills.

Open session - no booking required.
