Dorset County FA in partnership with Wessex Warriors are delighted to deliver 7 powerchair football festivals in 2016! The Wessex Warriors are the first Powerchair football club to be set up in Dorset, and are welcoming aspiring Powerchair players to come and try it out!

Powerchair football is a fast-paced and active sport designed for those with physical disabilities. It is a great team sport that has potential for players to progress from grassroots level right through to national and international level.

It is hoped that the Powerchair Football festivals will provide opportunities for a new generation of players with a disability to access this growing sport and participate in the newly established South West England Powerchair League.

The Powerchair Football Festivals are open to anyone aged 5+. Each participant will have a chance to learn key Powerchair skills, and also play small sided games.

The festivals will take place at Victoria Education Centre (12 Lindsay Road, Poole, Dorset, BH13 6AS).

  • Saturday 20th February (1-3pm)
