Dorset School Games Table Cricket Report

12 teams took part in the recent School Games, Lord Taverners Dorset Table Cricket competition organised by Val Ford at Queen Elizabeth's School Wimborne.

Competitions were held for pupils from mainstream and special schools with a physical disability or a pan disability.

110 young people participated with games being officiated by 15 Young Leaders from Queen Elizabeth's School, Wimborne.

The leaders said it was "a really good day for everyone involved."

One member of staff commented "it was so lovely to see all the students interacting together", with another saying "we have never played outside school before, it's fantastic to compete". Others also thought that "the atmosphere was amazing".

A national event will be held with qualifying schools attending by invitation.
