Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 pro rata

Hours of working: 30 hours per week

Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham, West Midlands

The employee will be required to work from the Sport Structures office in Edgbaston. Casual car user allowance for business travel only. Attendance at meetings/events may be required outside of normal office hours

Job Summary

This role focuses on the marketing of our cross-company products and services through social and digital media, with specific focus on promotion of our education and training courses. In order to reach more people and build stronger relationships with organisations in the sector, the role will involve the maintenance of our customer and client database.
There is the potential for this role to be full time in the future.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Education and training marketing: To effectively market our education and training opportunities through digital and social media, using a targeted approach to maximise awareness
2. Database management: To manage the Sport Structures CRM database, balancing data entry tasks to ensure contacts are kept up to date along with relevant mailing lists.
3. Support and deliver the marketing plan: To input into and drive the delivery of our marketing plan considering our values and products and services. This will align to our sales plan which will include data entry support responsibilities using Salesforce.
4. Content creation: To create compelling content which can be used across a variety of communication channels such as our website, social media, e-newsletters to show the value and successes of our work.
5. Campaign development: To develop campaigns to showcase our products and services, including content creation (video, graphic and written), implementation and measurement of campaign success
6. Social media: To create new ideas and concepts for social media which focuses on audience interaction and engaging with the work of our other partners in the sector. To also use scheduled content to create a consistent stream of content based on audience engagement.
7. Digital reporting tools: To use digital reporting tools (Google Analytics, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn analytics etc) to understand and interpret audience engagement to assess the impact of our marketing
8. E-newsletters: To produce and distribute regular electronic newsletters (in line with GDPR requirements) to our customers and clients
9. Reporting: To create and maintain dashboards and reports on a monthly basis to share with the wider team
10. Respond to enquiries: To respond efficiently to enquiries using online and social media platforms
11. Website maintenance: To frequently update our website with news and case studies, ensuring content is reflective of our products and services.
12. SEO optimization: continually work on Search Engine Optimization of the website, identifying existing content and product pages with low quality traffic, reviewing and optimising to increase ranking
13. Processes and procedures: To be responsible for developing internal marketing and database procedures and documentation.
14. Event attendance: To assist and attend marketing and promotional events where required
15. Training and development: To undertake appropriate training and development opportunities
16. Equality and diversity: To promote equality, diversity and social inclusion issues throughout all of Sport Structures work promoting a positive approach to the work environment and partner relationships. To personally act as an exemplar on these issues.
17. Health and safety: To ensure the health, safety and welfare of employees and the public by complying with the appropriate health and safety policies, organisations and arrangements and the employment of safe working practices and risk assessment and management and to comply with the No Smoking policy.
18. Other duties: To undertake other duties, as appropriate, to achieve the objectives of the post, and to assist the organisation in the fulfilment of its overall objectives, commensurate with the post holders salary, grade, abilities and aptitude.
