About Project Manager (Workforce)
The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire is the strategic lead for physical activity and sport across the two counties. Our purpose is to 'create a more active and healthier Herefordshire and Worcestershire by enabling a thriving, sustainable environment of physical activity and sport'.
We are part of a national network of Active Partnerships and we are currently in a position to recruit for a Project Manager to drive forward our Workforce plan and to take the lead on our new and exciting project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund 'Our Community Can'.
Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire is seeking an experienced Project Manager or an individual with experience in the industry looking for that next step in order to take the lead on the Partnership's existing commitments around developing a 'Workforce that Inspires' and also to implement our new and exciting project 'Our Community Can' .
We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and high performing team who can bring with them a passion for developing a 'Workforce that Inspires' and empowering communities especially in rural areas to developing physical activity opportunities that are right for them.
This role will require you to work with a varied range of local partners and stakeholders so the ability to engage and network will be crucial, you will have some experience in line management.
An ability to work under pressure with excellent time management is essential as the post holder will have to manage multiple priorities across their portfolio. You will be a self-starter with good team building and networking skills, which will be critical to this role. A willingness to work evenings and occasion weekend is essential.
