Active Dorset's Coach Education Programme includes developmental courses for existing qualified coaches, new coaches and teachers and teaching assistants. It also has generic courses for deliverers seeking to meet minimum stands in Safeguarding and First Aid.

Time To Listen TTL/190306 (for Welfare Officers)

Time to Listen is a 3-hour workshop for Club Welfare Officers (CWO). CWOs must have attended a Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop previously and will need to bring their own reporting procedures to the workshop

BSUK Coach Award (equivalent to Level 2)

Date: Sat, 09 Feb 2019 - Sat, 23 Feb 2019

Location: St Albans Girl School, Sandridgebury Lanem St Albans, Herts, AL3 6DB

This combined course, designed for both baseball and softball, has been developed specifically for coaches that need to plan, deliver and evaluate a series of linked and progressive coaching sessions over the course of a season, and will result in a BSUK coaching qualification.

UKDBA Level 2 Award Dodgeball

Date: Sun, 10 Feb 2019 (13:00 - 19:00)

Location: University of Huddersfield, Sport & Leisure Centre, 9 Queensgate, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 3DH

The course is for anyone wishing to coach Dodgeball within their community, whether that is at clubs, universities, schools or colleges. Anyone aged 16+ can complete the qualification. You do not need to have completed the level 1 course.

Safeguarding & Protecting Children SPC/58856

Leadership in Running Fitness

The course will focus on the safe organisation of achievable and progressive running activity and how to lead a group of runners of varying ability.
