Access Dorset, Dorset's newest charity, aims to enhance the everyday lives of disabled people, older people, carers and other people who may benefit from support or information.
Access Dorset is a 'user-led' organisation, run by disabled and older people. We are a membership organisation and welcome the involvement of our members in furthering the inclusion of disabled and older people in society.We bring together a partnership of user-led organisations and provide a gateway to their services and information.
Following the success of last year’s event Access Dorset invites you to join this year’s Race for Equality! It takes place on Sunday 2nd October at 10.00am, starting at Bournemouth Pier and ending at Boscombe Pier.
The event is open to adults, children, disabled and non-disabled people, older people and carers. We would love you to take part by any means - walk, run, jog, wheel – and help us raise funds for Access Dorset.
