Active Dorset is committed to supporting coaching and coaches as a key element of our core provision..
We have established and are developing a coaching system support network (CSSN) in the county and this network is led by the CSSN group comprising of representation from NGB's, Local Authorities, schools sector , Bournemouth University and the Further Education colleges, Private Coaching Providers and Coach Educators across the county.
We employ a coaching development manager within our core team and the Coach Dorset Vision is to work collaboratively in support of National Governing Bodies (NGB's) to meet the need of sports coaches, the coaching workforce and coaching throughout Dorset.
In September 2011 iCoach, Active Dorset's coach management system was launched. It would be advised to register on this website if you are an existing or prospective coach. If you wish to do so, please click on the logo below.
