Active Dorset is a powerful delivery mechanism that has the potential to be used to deliver a wide range of sporting, economic and social outcomes and will collaborate with local and national agencies to achieve this.
We were pivotal in the implementation of the community sports coach scheme and currently employ a coaching development manager as part of our core team. We work closely with Sports Coach UK and Sport England to support the National Governing Bodies with the implementation of the UK Coaching Framework.
icoach was launched in September 2011, a nationally developed coach management system that will extend the support we can provide to coaches across the county.
