There is a wide range of funding opportunities available for both individuals and organisations from £100 up to £1,000,000+. Amounts and sources change regularly but we endeavour to keep this information as up to date as possible.
We are only attempting to cover information on those opportunities that relate directly to sport and physical activity. The exception is sport specific funds which may be available from some of the National Governing Bodies of Sport.
We have provided information and contacts for the main funding opportunities of which we are aware. Go to the downloads tab on this page to download the latest funding streams in PDF format.
Sported. has launched in Dorset. It is a charity set up to support non-statutory organisations that use sport as a tool to engage with disadvantaged young people, and uses that sports opportunity to support them whether that be through education, social interaction, youth work support and training. sported. offers membership free to groups that use sport, or would like to use sport but are unsure how to get started, to target 11-25yrs olds, who would be classed as deprived, disadvantaged or disengaged.
sported. has a number of support packages for its members including a small and large grants programme, mentor support for income / expenditure and project planning and an experts support process where members can ask questions about their projects and get expert advice.
